We’ve developed and edited numerous titles over a wide range of subjects, and offer decades of experience in all phases of the editorial process. From concept idea development and proposals and hands-on writing and editing of manuscripts all the way through to final copyedited and proofread text, we provide as much, or as little, guidance as necessary.
There is no better example of this than one of our earliest works, MGM: When the Lion Roars, written by Peter Hay and published by Turner Publishing. This 336-page history of the great Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie studio, in the days of Louis B. Mayer and Irving Thalberg, required a hundred thousand word original text, additional material provided by a dozen separate writers, captions for more than 700 images, and multiple editors in order to manage, produce, and deliver the finished work.
